The Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero

WOW it's been a long-long time since I didn't make any comment or synopsis or whatever it is from the book I read. Well, here it goes.

I've read The Lost Hero, this is the 1st book of The Heroes of Olympus. It's Rick Riordan's. For you or those who love fantasy, Riordan will bring and drown you. It's kinda greek mythology. What I love is, when he tries to push us to think, imagine, and keep guessing what will happen. You know, you should buy a book which makes you think not just read and that's all. You'll got nothing, I bet.

The 1st book tells you from Greek's side. I knew anything. Their myth, their paradigm, their way of life. And the interesting one is I can learn much from this book. At least a lot of knowledge increases, hahaha. For you to know, I finished it in just 4 days. 586 pages in just 4 days?! Is it cool, isn't it?!

Jason (actually from Roman), Piper, and Leo are the main character here. They're actually the 3 of 7 chosen Demigod who will fight Gaea and the-what will I say-crossbred (?) who want to destroy Olympus. Gaea is the mother earth, she takes evil position. These special Demigod are formed by Hera who wants the Demigod and Olympus Gods unite against Gaea and the gang. However, the imperious Zeus closed his eyes about their power. Therefore, Hera makes a mission that must be endured by the three, in order to make Zeus realize, the demigod can't be underestimated. Jason is the son of Zeus, the oldest God in Olympus.

Anyway, the main character of all is Jason, but somehow I prefer Leo. Leo Valdez. He's humorous and witty. Yap, I choose him.

In each book, which essentially tells the story of a mission undertaken by the choosen Demigod. And Riordan successfully made my heart stopped because of an hanging ending. And it becomes the strongest reason for me to bought the 2nd book immediately.

So.........what are you waiting for?! Go and get it!

Errh actually I'm not here to be such a SPG (Sales Promotion Girl not Super Power Girl). But I really recommend you for this book. Guys, it's #1 New York Times Bestseller. You know people's taste.

Coming up for the 2nd one, I'll see ya!
